Welcome to Odonata, Danish Dragonflies, the place dedicated to information about and facination of dragonflies and damselflies.
This is a new 2010 edition, or a revised 2008 edition, which I hope you will find interesting.
A report about a visit to Fort Worth in Dallas has been added. I hope to add more travel reports before the end of 2010.
I've photographed a lot of species since the last update of this site, but only a few photos has been added. To view more or less my complete

The Family list (found under Species) is still not complete, but images I took of Coenagrion caerulescens in Portugal, makes me want to add a
description of that genus too.
Please note that the Species List is there, but the links to each species is not ready yet. This will take some time before
that can be finished.

Aeshna serrata is new to Denmark as of 2006. This is the male in the afternoon.
11/8-10, Rhodes, Greece.
A male Anax immaculifrons, the largest dragonfly in Europe.
